Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a Payroll Specialist to provide direct support and consulting to payroll clients. You will develop deep knowledge of payroll practices and laws to deliver accurate service under the Payroll Supervisor's guidance, while independently managing client relationships when appropriate.

Responsibilities include ensuring payroll data accuracy, processing payrolls, preparing earnings and tax reports, maintaining confidentiality, and supporting the implementation team with payroll

Qualifications

• 2-year degree preferred or 2 years experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience with ADP software platforms desirable.
• Working knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and consulting to payroll clients.
• Independently manage client relationships when needed and escalate issues for resolution.
• Ensure client payroll information is accurate and resolve discrepancies.
• Process payrolls in a timely manner to meet client deadlines and prepare payroll reports.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee data and communicate information clearly in writing and verbally.
• Support implementation projects and train clients on payroll processes.
