Job summary

Vensure Employer Solutions is seeking a Payroll Specialist to support payroll processing for a growing client base. The role involves inputting payroll data, handling scheduled and off-cycle runs, and resolving client inquiries with accuracy and timeliness.

Responsibilities include partner engagement with Payroll Supervisors on projects, maintaining client relationships, and continuous learning through training to stay current with payroll regulations and best practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; payroll-related coursework preferred.
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience.
• One year of payroll experience is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day payroll processing support for scheduled and off-cycle payrolls.
• Enter payroll changes (hours, updates, earnings, deductions) and verify data for imports.
• Respond to client inquiries via email, cases, and phone calls.
• Collaborate with Payroll Supervisors on special projects and client needs.
• Maintain and support assigned book of business; build cross-team relationships.
• Attend webinars and training to stay current with payroll best practices.
