Job summary

Vensure Employer Solutions is hiring a Payroll Specialist to support payroll processing for a growing client base. You will handle scheduled and off-cycle payrolls, enter changes, and ensure accurate data through control totals and reviews.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and collaboration with HR, Finance, and Operations to ensure compliant processing. A professional, client-focused approach is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of one year’s experience in Customer Service.
• At least one year of payroll experience preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ability to learn new apps.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day payroll processing support for scheduled and off-cycle payrolls.
• Import or manually enter payroll changes (hours, updates, earnings, deductions, tax overrides).
• Calculate payroll and verify client data accuracy via control totals and manual review.
• Respond to client inquiries via email, cases, and phone.
• Partner with Payroll Supervisors on special projects to support clients.
