Job summary

Everspring is a leading provider of education technology and services, based in Chicago. The Human Resources Generalist will own payroll and benefits administration, run core HR operations, and support employee relations with a focus on accuracy and service.

This role reports to the Executive Director of Human Resources and offers a hybrid work environment with three in-office days per week. A bachelor’s degree and Paylocity experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–3 years HR experience in a mid+ sized org.
• Experience administering payroll and benefits, incl. validation and enrollment.
• Proficiency with Paylocity; maintain accurate data and resolve issues.
• Strong confidentiality, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Own semi-monthly payroll processing and benefits administration.
• Manage day-to-day HR operations and HRIS updates.
• Provide first-line employee relations support and guidance to managers.
• Support talent acquisition processes and onboarding/offboarding.
• Maintain employee handbook, directory, and HR resources.
