FORTH (Set Forth, LLC) is seeking an HR Generalist in Schaumburg, IL to support the full employee lifecycle. You will promote a positive employee experience and oversee HR functions from recruitment and onboarding to benefits, compliance and backup payroll processing.

You'll work with the HR Manager and HR Director, ensuring HR integrity, fostering employee growth, and maintaining a high-performance workplace. This hybrid role requires strong ethics and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or 8 years HR experience in lieu of degree.
• Minimum of 4 years HR experience supporting 50+ employees.
• 2+ years HRIS admin/ATS experience (e.g., Paychex, Paycor, Workday, ADP, Rippling).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ethics, and confidentiality.
• Proactive, independent and team-focused; strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilités

• Assist in recruitment and onboarding by posting jobs, interviewing coordination, and offers.
• Administer benefits enrollment and respond to employee questions on 401K, healthcare, and FSA/HSA.
• Cross-trained in payroll processing and benefits changes; maintain employee files.
• Support orientation, recognition programs, and new-hire paperwork.
• Maintain compliance with harassment training and labor law posters.
• Develop/maintain HR documents, policies, and employee handbook.
• Collaborate with HR to implement strategies supporting FORTH’s goals.
• Uphold information security policies and protect confidential information.
