Intersect Healthcare in Michigan is seeking a Payroll Benefits Coordinator who will manage payroll administration for the facility and support a comprehensive benefits program. This role reports to the Administrator within the Business Office department, and requires attention to accuracy, confidentiality, and strong communication with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Two years experience in payroll or human resources.
• High school diploma or equivalent; accounting/business coursework preferred.
• Knowledge of computerized payroll and bookkeeping systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, family members and all staff.
• Maintain confidentiality and attention to detail in all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll in adherence with applicable pay guidelines.
• Document pay practices and monitor merit increases.
• Coordinate PIB (pay-in-lieu of benefits) for employees.
• Post state and federal posters in appropriate locations.
• Ensure HRIS contains correct employee information (SSN, job title, FLSA status).
• Review time and attendance reports for accuracy and corrections.
• Serve as a backup to ensure WOTC compliance and HR coordination support.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
