Job summary

N&M Transfer Co., Inc. in Neenah, Wisconsin, is seeking an Assistant Payroll Administrator to support payroll processing from 7:00am to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday. The role involves back-up duties and close collaboration with Human Resources.

Candidates should have accounting and payroll experience with UKG Pro, good data-entry skills, and strong numerical accuracy. Onsite benefits include a robust package and 401(k) with immediate vesting.

Qualifications

• Accounting and payroll experience with UKG Pro.
• Good typing and basic math skills.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy in data entry.

Responsibilities

• Enter payroll changes, new employee information and terminated employee information.
• Calculate vacation and holiday pay.
• Process payroll deductions and taxes via UKG Pro.
• Compute and enter payroll and deductions weekly.
• Audit timecards weekly and review driver timecards for absences.
• Audit paysheets daily and data entry (primary daily duty).
• Answer payroll-related questions from employees.
• Complete employment verifications.
• Fill out information for U.C. office.
• Work with Human Resources/Safety regarding wage information for Disability Insurance and Workers Compensation.
