Job summary

Jobcase in Appleton, Wisconsin is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for over 800 employees. You will collaborate with HR, Finance, and Operations to maintain compliance with payroll regulations and internal policies.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of payroll experience, familiarity with UKG, strong Excel skills, and excellent written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in accounting or payroll.
• Familiarity with UKG and timekeeping integration.
• Associate's degree preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
• Strong computer skills with spreadsheets and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Import and manage the integration of the timekeeping system into UKG payroll to ensure accurate data transfer.
• Set up wage assignments, garnishments, and other payroll deductions in compliance with legal and company policies.
• Serve as the in-house expert for UKG payroll systems and related platforms, providing ongoing support and troubleshooting as needed.
• Administer direct deposit and pay card programs, ensuring employees receive their pay accurately and promptly.
• Identify and resolve issues related to payroll integrations, including 401K, HSA, and other benefits systems.
• Prepare and provide payroll data for cost-plus contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual obligations.
• Coordinate with Human Resources to establish and maintain earnings and deduction codes, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
• Support additional functions within the Home Office to facilitate smooth payroll operations and compliance.
