Description
The Payroll and Accounts Payable Associate position at Country Meadows is a vital member of the finance team who assists in the processing of company-wide payroll in a multi-location environment. The position reports and works closely with the Director of Payroll and Accounts Payable and acts as a liaison in assisting any payroll and accounts payable situations, questions, and/or concerns. This position is required to have specialized knowledge in accounts payable, payroll tax and employment laws, and to be able to perform standard payroll and accounts payable tasks independently.
Full-time: Monday – Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm

Payroll and Accounts Payable Associate Responsibilities:
Payroll:
- Processing bi-weekly payroll via UKG, including any off cycle manual checks.
- Update Office Managers bi-weekly on the status of loans and negative PTO balances.
- Complete and submit various benefit deductions to Accounts Payable.
- Tracking and processing of co-worker bonus plans.
- Executing garnishments and verifying their legitimacy.
- Support and backup to the Payroll Specialist as needed.
Accounts Payable:
- Receives all invoices, internal payment requests, statements and reports from several input sources to review, code, and obtain approval then process requested payment in a timely and efficient way with accuracy.
- Review and apply sales/use tax to invoices in a multi-state and for profit/non-profit environment.
- Preparation of reports and reconciliation of various accounts and statements as necessary.
- Maintenance and data management within our online platforms for corporate credit card program, procurement and energy management
- Other duties as assigned by Director of Payroll and Accounts Payable.
Payroll and Accounts Payable Associate Requirements:
- A minimum of 2-3 years payroll and/or accounts payable experience required.
- Must have minimum of high school diploma or GED.
- Must have general knowledge of computer programs, business math and calculator skills.
- Must have good customer service skills and be able to prioritize.
- Must be able to handle confidential information.
- Multi-tasking capabilities; attention to detail and accuracy.
