Job summary

BKF is seeking a Payroll Administrator to own payroll operations, ensure compliance with state and federal labor regulations, and support accounting tasks. The role combines payroll processing, labor compliance, and financial analysis in a collaborative, detail-oriented environment.

Responsibilities include processing payroll with UKG/UltiPro, maintaining records in Deltek Vision, and preparing payroll journals while ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree plus 3–5 years payroll production experience.
• Proficient with Deltek Vision and UKG/UltiPro; strong Excel knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; highly organized.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with processing Union Payroll preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administration of payroll process (using UKG/UltiPro).
• Maintain employee information in Deltek Vision System.
• Audit timesheets for hours worked and accuracy.
• Review and verify payroll data, calculate overtime and pay premiums.
• Manage payroll tax filings.
• Prepare payroll journals for each pay period and provide monthly financial analysis.
• Respond to payroll inquiries and reconcile payroll accounts.
• Assist with labor compliance filings and payroll policies.
• Interact with HR on payroll-related matters (new hires, terminations, raises).
• Assist in benefits and financial audits; provide payroll data analysis.
