Job summary

ADESA, a Carvana owned company, seeks a Financial Operations Specialist (Payment Processing Specialist) to ensure a seamless customer experience through the online payment platform. You will resolve payment issues, monitor Salesforce queues, and coordinate with auction sites, delivering courteous, accurate service in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong communication, multi-tasking with attention to detail, and proficiency with Salesforce.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 1+ year of office experience, preferably in automotive industry.
• Experience with payment processing or accounts receivable preferred.
• College education preferred.
• Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license.
• Experience with Salesforce preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask with attention to detail.
• Confidentiality and integrity with sensitive information.
• Ability to take initiative and ownership.
• Ability to manage deliverables and metrics against targets.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers receive prompt, efficient and courteous attention.
• Demonstrate friendly phone/email etiquette with every customer.
• Resolve customer issues in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Support inbound payment inquiries via calls and emails.
• Monitor Salesforce queues to address payment exceptions.
• Follow up on payment-related outreach to customers.
• Coordinate with floor plan companies on packets or transmissions.
• Maintain communication with auction sites regarding exceptions.
• Escalate issues requiring next level review.
• Provide feedback on issues or system functionality.
• Promote teamwork and a positive attitude.
• Comply with policies and applicable laws.
