Job summary

Brex is seeking a Manager to lead the Account Servicing team within our Operations group in San Francisco. You will oversee a portfolio handling money applications, statement adjustments, billing changes, auto-pay, vendor onboarding, and credit reporting, while driving automation to reduce manual work.

The role requires 5+ years in financial services/fintech operations with 2+ years in people management, strong cross-functional collaboration, SQL and BI fluency, and a track record of process

Qualifications

• 5+ years in financial services or fintech operations, including 2+ years managing people directly.
• Hands-on ownership of a servicing, billing, payment, or credit operations queue with strong controls.
• Data fluency. Ability to pull and defend numbers in SQL, spreadsheets, or BI tooling.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop a team of servicing specialists; build redundancy across queues.
• Set and defend SLAs, quality bars, and capacity models.
• Define operational reporting cadences to guide staffing and prioritization.
• Write and maintain SOPs, QA sampling, and maker-checker controls.
• Escalation path for high-dollar, time-critical, and legally sensitive cases.
• Own the automation roadmap for the team and partner with Product/Engineering.
