Job summary

Brex is hiring a Manager of Operations in Salt Lake City, a hybrid role combining in-office collaboration with remote flexibility. You will coach a servicing team responsible for account servicing, billing changes, and credit operations while partnering with Product and Engineering to reduce manual work.

You will own forecasting, SLAs, and quality standards, ensure accurate financial adjustments, and help shape the automation roadmap in a fast-growing fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in financial services or fintech operations with 2+ years in people management.
• Ownership of servicing/billing/credit operations queues with controls and audit trails.
• Proven track record of reducing handle time, backlog, or errors.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop a team of servicing specialists; build redundancy.
• Set and defend SLAs, quality bars, and capacity models across workflows.
• Define operational reporting cadences for staffing and prioritization decisions.
• Write and maintain SOPs, QA sampling, and maker-checker controls for accuracy.
• Act as escalation path for high-dollar, time-sensitive, or legally sensitive cases.
• Own the automation roadmap; quantify cases and validate improvements.
