Brex is hiring a senior operations manager in New York City to lead a servicing, billing, and credit operations team. You will own SLA adherence, drive process improvements, and partner with Product and Engineering to automate workflows while balancing risk and efficiency.

Qualifications

5+ years in financial services or fintech operations, including 2+ years managing people.
Hands-on ownership of a servicing, billing, payment, or credit operations queue with controls.
Proven track record of process improvement and efficiency gains.
Operational partner to Product and Engineering: requirement writing, prioritization, testing.

Responsibilities

Coach and develop a servicing team; build redundancy.
Set and defend SLAs, quality bars, and capacity models.
Define operational reporting cadences for staffing decisions.
Write and maintain SOPs, QA sampling, and maker–checker controls.
Be escalation path for high-dollar, time-sensitive, legally sensitive cases.
Own automation roadmap and partner with Product/Engineering to reduce manual work.
