Job summary

North American Partners in Anesthesia in Sunrise, FL seeks a Payment Posting Specialist for a full-time, hourly role. You will post and balance payments, analyze EOBs, and resolve discrepancies with strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities include applying payments, reviewing remittance data, and reconciling daily activity with bank deposits and system totals. Attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Experience in payment posting, accounts receivable, billing, or related finance role preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to research and resolve payment and account discrepancies.
• Proficiency with Excel, Outlook and other MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Post and reconcile payments received via checks, ACH, EFT, cards, and other methods.
• Apply payments, adjustments, credits, refunds, and contractual allowances.
• Review remittance information to ensure accurate processing.
• Research and resolve unapplied payments, overpayments, and posting discrepancies.
• Reconcile daily payment activity to deposits, remittance reports, and system totals.
• Maintain records of payment posting and reconciliation activities.
