U.S. Bank is seeking a Consumer Servicing Specialist to provide administrative and operational support for consumer servicing functions, focusing on processing exceptions, research, and data entry in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes accuracy and adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements. The position has an in‑office expectation of 60% of time at the posted hub location, with preferred experience in banking, payment processing, and strong problem‑solving abilities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Four or more years in a business/office environment.
• Experience in banking or payment processing preferred.
• Experience researching, exception processing, reconciliation, or data maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative and operational processing activities supporting consumer servicing functions.
• Research and resolve payment-related exceptions and operational discrepancies.
• Process rejected payments, payment returns, lockbox payments, and other servicing exceptions.
• Complete data entry, data maintenance, and recordkeeping activities with a high level of accuracy.
• Track, compile, and maintain operational reports and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
• Identify and elevate issues, risks, and processing concerns as appropriate.
• Partner with team members and business partners to support operational objectives and service level expectations.
• Maintain productivity and quality standards while managing multiple priorities.
