Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Good interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Escort ambulatory patients and transport by wheelchair, stretcher, or bed.
• Assist nursing staff with patient transfers and positioning; follow isolation precautions as needed.
• Deliver stretchers, beds, cribs and wheels; clean and sanitize transport equipment.
