Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Good interpersonal skills and a customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Escort ambulatory patients and transport by wheelchair, stretcher, or bed.
• Assist nursing staff with patient movement and transfers using lift devices.
• Deliver beds, stretchers, and transport equipment; clean and sanitize equipment.
• Transport patient specimens and related materials per infection control guidelines.
