The Patient Support Coordinator is responsible for creating an outstanding experience at every interaction for both new and existing customers and through collaboration with the dental offices being supported.

Team members should have or be prepared to learn dental terminology and procedures to support patient education and care completion.

Responsibilities
  1. Effectively communicate with patients regarding dental treatment, questions, and appointment scheduling.
  2. Handle high volume of calls related to Denti-Cal, Medicaid, HMO, PPO, and other insurances.
  3. Navigate systems to lookup existing patient information.
  4. Conduct outbound calls and follow-ups on patients with incomplete care or missed/canceled appointments.
  5. Maintain professional and positive communication with peers and dental office team members.
  6. Surpass quality assurance, productivity, and dependability expectations.
  7. Follow best practices and procedures in escalating patient concerns.
  8. Educate patients on available plans, products, and services.
  9. Multi-task effectively, understanding multiple plans and benefits.
  10. Use analysis and problem-solving skills to address customer issues independently.
  11. Demonstrate an assertive work ethic and overcome objections to increase conversions.
  12. Engage in a high-energy, collaborative work environment with accessible leadership.
  13. Remain focused and productive despite repetitive tasks.
  14. Support dental offices nationwide and assist in building provider schedules.
  15. Meet KPIs related to inbound/outbound calls and appointment bookings.
Qualifications
  1. Experience with Denticon and Genesys is highly preferred.
  2. Availability to work Monday – Friday remotely with a private workspace and secure internet.
