Job summary

CenterWell is seeking a Medical Assistant to act as a Patient Specialist onsite, preparing patients for visits, verifying medications and allergies, and supporting doctors so they can focus on medical decisions.

You will manage the EMR inbox, perform intake, teach-back instructions, and collaborate with care teams to ensure accurate documentation and smooth clinical flow. 40 hours weekly with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Current or in progress BLS certification (for certain levels or state required).
• Graduated from MA training program or at least 3 years experience.
• Right to work in the United States.
• Work the assigned clinic hours.

Responsibilities

• Intake & clinical rooming: verify medications/allergies, document history, conduct screenings.
• Inbox & worklist management: route patient messages and lab results in EMR with same-day touch.
• Education & loop-back: confirm understanding by having patients repeat instructions.
