CenterWell Senior Primary Care in Glendale, AZ seeks a Medical Assistant to support patients from check-in to doctor visit. You will prepare patients, verify medications, document history, and perform validated screenings to maintain smooth clinical flow.

In this onsite role, you’ll manage the EMR inbox, coordinate with pharmacies, and educate patients using loop-back techniques to ensure understanding and adherence. The position includes a 40-hour work week and a competitive pay range.

Qualifications

• Infection prevention and OSHA standards.
• Computer literacy.
• Delivers responsive, patient-centered support.
• Accurately records patient care information.

• Current or in progress BLS certification.
• Graduated from MA training program or at least 3 years experience.
• Right to work in the United States.
• Work the assigned clinic hours.
• Document screenings using approved, standardized tools.
• Follow safe vaccine administration standards.
• Route messages to support care POCT and specimen handling.
• Value-based care fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Intake & Clinical Rooming: verify meds, allergies, patient history, and screenings.
• Inbox & Worklist Management: manage EMR inbox and chase same-day touch for tasks.
• Education & Loop-Back: ensure patients understand next steps by repeating back instructions.
