Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care is seeking a Medical Assistant in an onsite role to ensure smooth operations between check-in and physician visits. You will prep patients for exams, verify meds and allergies, document histories, and support efficient clinical flow.

Responsibilities include intake, rooming, EMR inbox management, and patient education using loop-back techniques to ensure understanding and adherence, while collaborating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Graduated from MA training program or at least 3 years experience.
• Current or in progress BLS certification (for certain levels or state required).
• Right to work in the United States.
• Work the assigned clinic hours.

Responsibilities

• Intake and Clinical Rooming: verify meds/allergies, document history, perform validated screenings.
• Inbox and Worklist Management: manage EMR inbox with routing rules for messages, labs, adherence follow-ups; aim for same-day touch.
• Education and Loop-Back: confirm patient understanding by asking to repeat instructions in their own words.
