Job summary

The role involves professional interaction with clients, patients, and PathGroup staff while performing forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing according to established procedures.

Essential functions include greeting customers, accurate specimen collection, data entry into PathConnect or related apps, and maintaining thorough records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; may be required based on state guidelines.
• Phlebotomist Certification preferred; required in Louisiana.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers appropriately with courtesy.
• Ensures all phlebotomy/PSC specimens are collected accurately and on time.
• Collects specimens and explains venipuncture process clearly and calmly.
• Maintains records and documentation in PathGroup systems.
• Maintains PPE use and biohazard disposal per regulations.
