Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Phlebotomy Certification preferred; required in certain states.
• At least 1 year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide courteous service.
• Perform venipuncture and collect specimens accurately and on time.
• Explain the procedure to patients and reduce anxiety.
• Enter patient data and test orders into PathConnect or similar system.
• Label, process, and transport specimens per protocol.
