Job summary

Proliance Surgeons in Renton, WA seeks a Patient Services Representative to be the face of the practice. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and enter information in our practice management and EMR systems.

You will triage scheduling issues with clinicians, collect co-pays, and ensure records are complete and up to date. Requires a high school diploma and 1–2 years of front-desk medical office experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years in public contact, preferably in medical office.
• Minimum 1 year front office or reception experience, medical preferred.
• Practice management and experience (desired).

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary customer service in person and on the phone.
• Greet and direct patients, vendors, and visitors.
• Schedule patient appointments and verify information per policy.
• Identify payor source, verify insurance eligibility and financial status.
• Enter patient data into management and EMR systems accurately.
• Assist patients with check-in and paperwork as needed.
• Communicate appointment status and wait times.
• Maintain complete and organized patient records.
• Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth flow of patients.
• Schedule interpreters when needed.
