Job summary

Bon Secours in Virginia is seeking a Patient Services Representative at Western Branch Family Practice to serve as the first point of contact for patients and the community. You will handle registration, verify demographics, insurance cards, and patient identification, and help schedule appointments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in patient registration/healthcare (preferred).
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary point of contact between patients and physician practices.
• Greets patients and the community with respectful communication and provides excellent customer service.
• Schedules patients, enters necessary information for scheduling, and manages registration accurately.
• Verifies insurance, processes patient payments, and reconciles cash drawer.
• Assists with referrals, authorizations, and scheduling as needed.
