Qualifications

• Experience with Medical Records Software preferred, Front desk practice experience preferred.

• Provide exemplary interpersonal skills and ability to interact with patients and families in sensitive situations.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and decisive judgment in a hectic environment.
• Manage patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling, collection and cash receipting, and desk activities per standards.
• Encourage patient use of front-end technology during registration.
• Enter and maintain confidential patient information including insurance and billing data.
• Demonstrate knowledge of emergency codes and applicable healthcare regulations.
• Monitor inventory and stock medications, narcotics, and emergency medications/equipment.
