Responsibilities

• Primary point of contact between patients and physician practices.
• Greet patients and the community in a respectful manner with excellent service.
• Schedule appointments and enter scheduling information into the system.
• Process patient registrations, verify demographics and insurance information.
• Explain financial options and collect patient payments; reconcile cash at day end.
• Assist with referrals, follow-up scheduling, and MyChart access as needed.
• Obtain authorizations/pre-certifications when applicable and manage patient charts as per policy.
