Job summary

Barrow Brain and Spine in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Patient Services Specialist to join our world-class team. You will be the friendly first contact for patients, greet guests, collect paperwork, and ensure accurate demographics and insurance information.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, updating Centricity and Phreesia databases, handling phone calls, collecting co-pays, and helping create an extraordinary patient experience in a busy medical office.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a medical office setting preferred but we are willing to train.

Responsibilities

• Prepare front office for daily activities.
• Warmly greet patients, guests, vendors, and visitors.
• Ensure that all patient paperwork, demographics, and insurance information is up to date and correct.
• Collect co-pay if necessary and issue receipt.
• Notify physician office and/or clinic staff of patient arrivals.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient information in Centricity and Phreesia databases.
• Answer telephones and transfer caller to appropriate staff member.
• Help create an extraordinary patient experience!
