Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston, Inc. seeks a motivated Front Desk Representative to join our Pembroke office, with coverage in Quincy and Weymouth as needed.

You will be the first impression for patients and support front office operations in a fast-paced healthcare setting. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 2–3 years of medical front desk experience, and strong insurance verification and billing skills.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years in medical or health care front desk preferred.
• Experience with insurance verifications and patient billing.
• Working knowledge of computers and confidentiality.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and register patients promptly and courteously.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information.
• Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances at check-in and check-out.
• Schedule appointments for multiple physicians and coordinate with departments.
• Follow up on appointments to minimize no-shows and maximize productivity.
