Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston, Inc. seeks a Front Desk Representative to join our Sandwich, MA team. You will greet patients, verify demographics and insurance, and manage appointments across multiple physicians.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of medical front desk experience, knowledge of patient billing, and strong attention to detail. This full-time role includes coverage in Yarmouth and Falmouth and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of medical/healthcare front desk experience preferred.
• Experience with insurance verifications and patient billing.
• Epic experience is a plus.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients promptly and courteously.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information.
• Determine eligibility and coverage for services across plans.
• Collect co-pays, deductibles, and balances at check-in/out.
• Assist patients with past-due balances and payment options.
