Job summary

Piedmont Urgent Care by Wellstreet is seeking a Patient Services Representative (Medical Receptionist) to be the first point of contact and ensure a welcoming, efficient front-office experience in a fast-paced clinic.

You will handle front-office operations, verify insurance, collect payments, support providers, and assist with patient documentation while traveling to other Piedmont locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Administrative Assistant certificate a plus.
• 1+ year of medical front-desk or patient services experience in a medical setting preferred.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced clinic.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors warmly to create a positive first impression.
• Manage front-office tasks, including patient and business documentation.
• Verify insurance benefits and communicate patient financial responsibilities clearly.
• Assist with billing/policies and support clinic staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Support travel to other Piedmont Urgent Care locations as needed.
• Ensure HIPAA and OSHA compliance in documentation and processes.
