Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Administrative Assistant certificate a plus.
• Experience: 1+ years in a medical office or healthcare setting as a Medical Receptionist.
• Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, multitasking in a busy environment.
• Technical Skills: Experience using EMR software, EPIC preferred.
• Flexibility: 12-hour shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Team Player: Proactive, friendly, patient-focused service.

Responsibilities

• Warm Welcome: Greet and assist patients and visitors with a positive attitude.
• Patient and Business Documentation: Maintain confidentiality and organize essential documents.
• Insurance Verification: Analyze benefits, verify eligibility, and explain policies.
• Financial Responsibility: Determine and collect patient financial responsibility clearly."
• Collaborative Support: Assist clinic leadership and staff for smooth daily operations.
• Compliance: Follow HIPAA and OSHA standards and related guidelines.
• Travel Requirement: Support staffing at other Piedmont Urgent Care locations as needed.
