The US Oncology Network's Texas Breast Specialists in Austin seeks a Patient Services Representative to support front desk and billing functions for the Breast Surgery team. The role handles insurance, scheduling, and patient inquiries in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Under direct supervision, you will verify insurance, collect co-pays, assist with pre-authorization, register patients, and coordinate financial resources, with a Monday–Friday schedule and no weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years medical business office experience.
• Minimum five years medical business office experience (Sr level).

Responsabilités

• Registers patients in the system as necessary.
• Collects co-pays, deductibles and other out-of-pocket amounts at the time of visit.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and obtains pre-authorization of services.
• Maintains patient account balances and processes payments.
• Assists patients with researching community resources including housing and transportation.
