Job summary

Solaris Health Holdings LLC is seeking a Patient Service Representative II to deliver exceptional front-desk service in Palm Harbor, FL. You will greet patients, collect demographics, verify insurance, collect co-pays, and schedule appointments, ensuring a seamless intake and checkout process.

In this role you will work with clinical staff to coordinate referrals, process charge entries, and maintain accurate records while protecting patient confidentiality and PHI in all interactions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college work preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years' customer service experience required. Experience in a medical office; specifically, urology, preferred.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of CPT procedure coding and ICD-10 diagnostic coding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet patients, visitors, and callers in a courteous manner.
• Register new patients and update demographics; collect personal and financial information.
• Collect outstanding balances and assist with co-pays and insurance cards.
• Obtain referrals and authorizations when required.
• Scan documents and maintain patient charts.
• Generate batch transmittal reports for the day.
• Facilitate patient flow by notifying providers of arrivals and delays.
• Schedule follow-up services and office visits, surgeries, and imaging with proper authorizations.
• Respond to patient inquiries with professional service.
• Maintain stocked office supplies and protect PHI in all duties.
• Ensure proper hand-off of responsibilities; meet attendance and shift reliability.
• Support billing through charge entry and timely documentation.
