Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time patient access specialist to float between Fond du Lac and Oshkosh campuses. You will greet patients, register them, verify insurance, collect payments, and schedule follow-ups. Excellent customer service and communication are essential.

The role requires no prior experience, a High School diploma, and offers benefits with the organization. You will operate in a fast-paced medical office environment and support multiple departments as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No prior healthcare experience required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors, respond to routine information requests.
• Register patients, collect demographics and insurance details, verify coverage and collect payments.
• Schedule patient appointments, coordinate cancellations and reschedules, and provide test prep and arrival guidance.
• Update insurance and patient data; communicate changes to patients and staff.
• Ensure accuracy of information and assist with patient flow and transportation as needed.
• Complete visit closure tasks and documentation as required.
