Qualifications

• High School Graduate.
• No required experience.
• Experience with insurance verification tools preferred.
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with interruptions.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and collect demographic, guarantor, and insurance information.
• Collect co-pays and explain patient financial responsibilities.
• Discuss insurance coverage and refer patients to Financial Advocates as needed.
• Answer phones, greet patients, and provide directions and assistance.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant handling of patient information and confidential data.
• Manage EHR work queues and coordinate scheduling and reminders.
