Advocate Health is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented front desk registration specialist at our Wisconsin health center. You will greet patients, collect demographics and insurance information, verify coverage, and handle co-pays and balances with accuracy.

You'll schedule appointments, guide patients on test preparations, coordinate cancellations or additions, and ensure data is complete and compliant with payer requirements. Excellent communication and organization are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior experience required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills required.
• Ability to operate computers and basic software (Microsoft Office).
• Demonstrated data-entry speed and accuracy.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and visitors, respond to routine information requests; answer calls and take messages.
• Register patients, collect demographics and insurance info, verify coverage and collect payments.
• Schedule appointments and manage cancellations, reschedules, and additions; provide prep info.
• Update insurance and demographic data; ensure information accuracy for payers.
• Identify and resolve registration issues; communicate with needed departments.
• Assist with patient flow and errands like transportation guidance; provide directions.
• Complete visit closure, schedule follow-ups, and provide visit summaries.
