Midwest Eye Consultants is seeking a Patient Services Representative to coordinate communication between patients and doctors, staff, and billing. The role includes verifying insurance, prior authorizations, checking in/out patients, scheduling, answering phones, and managing charts in a medical office.

The incumbent will handle patient inquiries, assist with recalls, and ensure accurate data entry in the EHR system, while supporting a safe, clean office environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in patient-facing roles within medical settings preferred.
• Ability to verify insurance information and obtain authorizations when needed.
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients in a friendly, professional manner.
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and assist in patient communications and recalls.
• Respond to billing and policy inquiries and provide service information.
• Prepare and manage patient charts, verify insurance, and post payments.
• Balance cash drawer and process daily deposits; submit reports.
