Responsibilities include greeting patients, answering calls, verifying insurance, scheduling, billing inquiries, and maintaining accurate records in the EHR.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a friendly, professional manner
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, assist in patient communications and recalls
• Respond to patient inquiries about billing, procedures, policies, and services
• Prepare patient chart prior to appointment and complete upon arrival
• Process payments, file clean claims, authorize billing, enter data into EHR
• Balance cash drawer, deposits, and essential reports at day end
• Monitor patient flow and communicate delays
• Maintain a safe, clean office environment
• Perform duties as assigned by office manager and doctors
