Northwest Healthcare in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Patient Services Representative to provide frontline administrative support in a clinic setting. You will register patients, verify insurance, schedule appointments, and handle payments while upholding HIPAA standards and delivering a positive patient experience.

The role requires 0–1 year of clinic experience, familiarity with EMR systems, and strong communication skills.

Competenze

  • Associate Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 0-1 year of experience in a clinic, medical office, or similar setting required.
  • Experience in patient services, billing, or front desk operations preferred.

Mansioni

  • Registers patients in the clinic EMR with accurate information.
  • Checks in/out patients, collecting copays and payments.
  • Verifies insurance eligibility and updates demographics.
  • Ensures consents and PHI forms are signed.
  • Schedules and manages patient appointments in the EMR.
  • Assists with charge entry and daily reconciliation of charges.
  • Responds to patient inquiries and messages professionally.
  • Monitors waiting room and ensures timely services.
  • Performs general administrative support as needed.
  • Maintains regular attendance and complies with policies.
