Job summary
Community Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a Patient Services Representative for our Tucson clinic. You will support front desk operations, verify insurance, register patients, schedule appointments, and handle time-of-service payments with HIPAA-compliant care.
Work closely with providers and clinic staff to maintain smooth operations and excellent patient experiences. An Associate degree is preferred; 0–1 year in a clinical setting is desirable; EMR proficiency and strong communication are
Qualifications
- Associate degree preferred; 0–1 year clinic/medical office experience required
- Experience in patient services, billing, or front desk operations preferred
- Familiarity with HIPAA and confidentiality requirements
Responsibilities
- Register patients and verify demographics and insurance information
- Check-in/out and collect payments (copays/deductibles)
- Schedule and manage appointments in the EMR
- Assist with charge entry and encounter processing
- Respond to patient inquiries professionally and timely
- Maintain waiting areas and clinic cleanliness
- Provide general administrative support to staff and Providers
