Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Healthcare or medical office experience preferred.
• Familiarity with insurance processes and billing procedures is a plus.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients with professionalism and courtesy.
• Check in/out, verify demographics and insurance, and schedule appointments.
• Answer calls and assist patients with questions.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records in Epic.
• Coordinate testing and referrals with cost estimates per No Surprise Billing Act.
• Balance cash drawer and handle payments.
• Support clerical tasks like scanning and faxing.
