Mercy Clinic Springfield - Vascular Surgery is seeking a Patient Service Representative to greet, instruct and schedule patients, perform clerical duties for physicians, and manage front desk operations in a fast-paced clinic. The role requires a high school diploma, about one year of medical office experience, completion of Clinic Core Front Desk Training, and strong communication and data entry skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of applicable medical office experience.
• Attend Clinic Core Front Desk Training through Clinical Education.

Responsibilities

• Greets, directs and schedules patients and visitors.
• Performs clerical duties for physicians and clinic staff.
• Enters patient information into the computer and handles insurance questions.
• Answers incoming calls and sets appointments.
• Monitors physician schedules and handles patient accounts/payments.
