Premier Orthopaedics, in partnership with Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder, is seeking a Patient Service Representative for Paoli, Exton and Collegeville, PA. The role focuses on front-desk patient service, insurance verification, scheduling, and payment collection in a professional, patient-centered environment.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 1–2 years in patient registration or front office in healthcare.
• Experience with insurance rules, medical terminology, and EMR systems.
• Experience collecting payments and explaining financial responsibilities.

Aufgaben

• Greet and acknowledge patients; notify staff of arrivals.
• Answer calls promptly and provide information or direct inquiries.
• Assist patients with forms; review and correct demographic/insurance data.
• Collect co-pays, co-insurances, and balances; arrange payment plans.
• Explain insurance requirements; refer complex issues to Billing.
• Verify benefits and notify patients of coverage limitations.
• Scan and upload documents into the EMR system.
• Schedule and confirm appointments; ensure referrals/authorizations.
• Prepare charts for upcoming appointments; communicate delays.
• Maintain cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions.
• Protect HIPAA privacy; maintain front-office cleanliness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
