Job summary

Premier Orthopaedics, in partnership with Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center, is seeking a Patient Service Representative for our Aston, PA physical therapy clinic. You will handle front-desk tasks, greet patients, manage check-in/check-out, verify insurance, schedule appointments, and collect payments with accuracy and HIPAA compliance.

This full-time on-site role is Monday–Friday, with opportunities for growth and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of patient registration/front-office experience in a medical setting.
• Experience with insurance rules/regulations and medical terminology.
• Experience collecting payments and explaining financial responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge patients promptly; notify staff of arrival.
• Answer calls, relay messages, and assist with forms.
• Collect demographic/insurance info and required authorizations.
• Collect co-pays, co-insurances, and past-due balances; explain costs.
• Verify insurance coverage and coordinate follow-up authorizations.
• Schedule appointments and balance the cash drawer daily.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and accurate EMR documentation.
