Advocate Health in Wisconsin seeks a full-time Registration/Health Records Associate. Mon through Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm, 40 hours per week, with no weekends or holidays.

You will create the patient’s electronic health record, register patients, verify demographics and insurance, discuss payments, and support the clinical team with accurate information. Responsibilities include safeguarding HIPAA, handling financial conversations, scheduling, and ensuring a smooth patient experience while

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No prior experience required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Mansioni

• Create the initial electronic health record for patient care and safety.
• Register patients; verify demographics, insurance, and collect co-pays.
• Explain financial responsibilities and assist patients with referrals.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient privacy throughout interactions.
• Schedule appointments and manage reminders and cancellations.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist with patient portal usage.
• Monitor EHR work queues and support department leadership.
