Job summary

Advocate Health Lake Geneva clinic seeks a Front End Staff member to greet patients, register visits, verify demographics and insurance, and collect payments. You will support the patient portal, schedule appointments, and maintain a welcoming environment in a 40-hour per week role.

This position operates Mon-Fri with potential early starts and some evenings, weekends, and holidays, floating within Lake Geneva Clinic to multiple suites.

Responsibilities

• Creates and registers patients in the electronic health record system.
• Verifies demographics, guarantor, and insurance information, and collects co-pays.
• Maintains HIPAA confidentiality and explains insurance basics to patients.
• Schedules appointments and coordinates cancellations or recalls as needed.
• Assists with payments and uses computer systems for data entry.
• Supports department staff and maintains a welcoming environment.
