Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary point of contact between patients and physician practices.
• Greet patients and the community with respectful communication and strong customer service.
• Answer calls, route messages, schedule patients, and enter information accurately.
• Process patients at point of care during their appointments.
• Troubleshoot problems to maintain patient flow and inform supervisor of issues.
• Verify basic insurance and complete demographic information during registration.
• Record time indicators for lobby wait times and manage cash drawer.
• Assist with referrals, authorizations, and follow-up scheduling as needed.
