Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Patient Services Representative (PSR) for the Physician Practice at Boardman Medical Pavilion. The PSR handles patient registration, demographics verification, insurance cards, and scheduling with a focus on accurate data entry and excellent customer service.

You may cover other physician practice locations as needed, assist with referrals, and help patients understand financial options while maintaining respectful communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in Patient Registration/healthcare is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact between patients and physician practices.
• Register patients and verify demographics and insurance information.
• Explain financial options to patients and collect and process payments.
• Schedule appointments and manage referrals and online scheduling tools (MyChart).
• Ensure accurate charting and maintain patient records per policy.
